Question: Why do you drink so much coffee?

Some people joke that theoretical physicists are just machines for turning coffee into equations but (most of us) aren’t quite that bad! We’re lucky that in our department we have a good coffee machine – but it’s not as good as the lab I worked in in France, where I had lots of Italian colleagues and we had a big shiny Gaggia espresso machine. That was the best!
