I’m really interested, but don’t know a lot about it. I loved watching the recent meteor showers, and i’m lucky to live near Jodrell Bank, which is a great place to go to learn more!
I love astronomy – I find it mind-blowing, and if I ever get the time I’d like to take an evening class that I’ve seen to find out more.
What I like about it is its scale – the sheer, awesome size of the cosmos – and the fact that looking out into space is actually looking back in time. From what little I know so far, it’s a subject full of astounding facts and concepts that make you realise how incredible the Universe is – and consequently makes me want to find out more about it.
Yes, it fascinates me. When I went to univeristy I considered studying astrophysics instead of biology but biology won. I would love to have a telescope and look at all the things in the sky
I love astronomy, but have never really had the chance to study it properly. I’ve visited the observatory here at the University of York, and had a look at the telescope and other equipment there and am quite jealous of the scientists who get to use it!
