• Question: do you save energy or not?

      I do – we have energy-saving light bulbs, and don’t leave the TV or other things on “standby”, and don’t use a car unless we have to. Saving energy means saving money, so that’s a good reason to do it as well as for the environment.

      I try to! I walk or cycle to work, recycle, compost most of our kitchen waste and use low-energy light bulbs. I’m a bit of a hippy really!

      Yes, I try my best to save energy by using low energy lightbulbs, and I am really careful to recycle as much as my waste as possible. I don’t leave things on standby!
      At work, my university has a scheme where we are trying to reduce our energy use by 40% by 2015, which I think is great! We all need to do it in order to save the planet for future generations!
