      Not always. I wanted to be a vet while I was at school, then I nearly joined the Navy, and I turned down a job with the police. But I’ve always been interested in science, and wouldn’t swap what I do now for any other job!

      HI Sandu,

      I’ve always been interested in science, but I actually wanted to be a dentist. I changed my mind after doing work experience in a lab, as I really liked it so I did a degree then a PhD in biology instead.
