  According to Wikipedia, Drax (which is just down the road from me here in York! Sometimes you can see the clouds coming out of the cooling towers from here :)) generates 3960 megawatts (3960 million joules per second). Sizewell B generates 1195 megawatts, and an average wind turbine about 1.5 megawatts.
